Founded  in  2000  as  a  Canadian  representative  selling  products  from  Telecom  and  Optical  Test  and  Measurement Equipment manufacturers. Today, Simbol still sells products from respected manufacturers and also distributes products that are made to order such as optical patch cords, adapters, etc. 

Photoncom is the technical arm of the Simbol group. Not only does PhotonCom  test  every  product sold  by  AssetRelay,  it  is  also  a  repair  and  calibration  laboratory  offering  services  to  the  global market.  Being  one  of  the  very few  Optical  equipment  specialized  lab,    products  are  shipped  to  PhotonCom  for  calibration  and  repair  from  test equipment  vendors  or  end  users  worldwide. PhotonCom also develops custom test solution to serve customers requiring specific test fixtures.  Products such as ASE sources, optical switches, etc. are now sold bearing the PhotonCom logo.
